In the name of God Amen I John Strudwick of Whitton in the Parish of Twickenham in the County of Middlesex carpenter being in good health & of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament in the manner & form following
Ffirst I will and direct give devise and bequeath all my ready money monies and securities of moneys book debts & arrears of rents & all other money that may be owing to me at the time of my decease likewise all my household furniture goods and chattells plate glass china & all my impliments of trade and all other personal property I may die possessed of to my youngest son Henry Strudwick and his wife Hannah Strudwick to place to and for their own use and benefit for their kind attention to my late dear wife and myself in our infirmities
I also further give devise and bequeath unto my son Henry Strudwick aforesaid all the rents and profits of my freehold estates for the term of three months after my decease on condition that he pay my funeral expenses within one month after my decease
I further direct and request that all my freehold estates I die possessed of be sold by public auction as soon as conveniently after my expiration of the three months aforesaid and the proceeds thereof after all my just debts are fully paid and satisfied to be divided among my three Sons John William and Henry Strudwick in equal proportions share and share alike
And if either of my said sons should not be living at the time of my decease it is my desire that such deceased sons widow and children be entitled to their deceased husbands and fathers share to be equally divided among them share and share alike the childrens portion to be invested in the public funds and paid to each of them when they attain the age of twenty one years respectively and the interest to be applied towards their maintenance and education
I do further nominate constitute and appoint Mr William Seymour of Twickenham Stationer and Mr Henry Strudwick of Whitton carpenter Executors of this my will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills and testaments by me at any time heretofore made
I publish and declare these presents to be and contain my last will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of March One thousand eight hundred and thirty six John Strudwick
