This is the last will and testament Thomas Stradwick of Bromley in the County of Kent Victualler
ffirst I order and direct that all my just debts and my funeral expenses shall be paid and satisfied as soon as may be convenient to my executors after my death and I give to each of my four children Thomas William Richard and Ffrances the wife of Richard Wingate the sum of one guinea apiece and subject the payment of the same and to my just debts and funeral expenses
I do give and bequeath all and every my money stock in trade stock in the ffunds household goods and goods chattels effects and personal estate and whatsoever unto my dear wife Sarah Stradwick to and for her own use and benefit and I request of my said son Thomas Stradwick to assist in carrying on the business so long as she shall choose to carry on the same in her own name and that she will permit him and his ffamily to reside in the house with her for that purpose
and I hereby appoint her my said wife and my said some Thomas Stradwick to be the executrix and executor of this my will in witness whereof I the said Thomas Strawick the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the 27th day of October 1803 The mark and seal of Thomas Stradwick
Signed sealed published by the above named Thomas Stradwick the testator in the presence of us who at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses Ed Latter Joseph Green John Pipper
This will was proved at London 29th day of November in the year of our lord 1803 before the worshipful Charles Cook doctor of laws Surrogate of the right Honourable Sir William Wynne Knight also Doctor of Laws master keeper or comissary of the prerogatory court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oaths of Sarah Stradwick widow the relict of the deceased and Thomas Stradwick the son the executors named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of said deceased they having been first sworn duly to administer
