In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Strudwicke of Hardham als Herringham in the County of Sussex widow being sicke & weake in body but of sound Y pfect memory & rememberance praised bee God therefore Doe make & ordaine this my last will & testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) first I give & bequeath my soul into the hands of almighty God my heavenly father hopeing & assuredly trusting in & through the merritts & mediation of Jesus Christ my only saviour & redeemer to receive free pardon & forgiveness of all my sins and eternall bliss in his eternall Kingdom And as to the disposal of such worldly estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to endow mee with all I give devise & bequeath them in manner & forme following (that is to say) First I give & bequeath unto my son in law George Lennard als Edmones one shilling to bee paid unto him within six months next after my decease Also I give & bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the wife of the said Son in Law George Lennard als Edmones & to my Grandchild Mary their daughter all my wearing apparell to bee delivered unto them within one month next after my decease Also I give & bequeath unto my son Edmond Strudwicke one shilling to bee paid unto him within six months next after my decease Alsoe I give & bequeath unto my son Charles Strudwicke one shilling to bee paid unto him within six months next after my decease Alsoe I give and bequeath unto my son John Billinghurst the sum of tenn shillings to bee paid unto him within six months next after my decease Alsoe I give & bequeath unto my Grandchild & Granddaughter Eliza Billinghurst the sum of five shillings to bee paid her within six months next after my decease All the rest residue and remainder of my goods & chattells & personal Estate I give & bequeath unto my son William Billinghurst whom I make sole executor of this my last will & testament Witnesse whereof I the said Elizabeth Strudwicke have to this my last will & testament have set my hand & seal the 10th day of October 1681 Elizabeth Strudwicke her mark Read signed sealed published & declared by the said Eliza Strudwicke to bee her last will & testament in the presence of Richard Ridall his mark Thomas Raynesford Probatum Mrch 1682 to William Billinghurst son of the deceased

I Charles Strudweeke of Hardham being sick and weake did make my will before Richard Collier John Smitt John Mills & Richard Mills in manner & forme following Imprimus I give unto my three children Charles Elizabeth and Ann the fund of twenty pounds apointed to be paid to them when as they shall attaine to the age of one & twenty yeares by my executor hereafter mentioned but if either of my said chilodren should die before they come to the age of one and twenty yeares then their legacie to remaine to the other The interest to remaine to my executirx to bring them up All the rest of my goods chattells & credits I give unto my loving wife and I do make her my lawfull executrix of this my last will & testament Witness my hand this seaventh day of May 1694 Charles Strudweeke witnes hereto Richard Collier John Smitt the mark of John Mills the mark of Richard Mills Probatum 18 June 1694 to Elizabethe Strudwicke relict
