Contents: John Mogeworth alias Pacy of Pulborough, yeo., and w. Hannah (one of the daus. and coheirs of Mary Pricklove, decd., late w. of John Slater of West Grinstead, yeo.) to William Strudwicke of Billingshurst, yeo Moiety of messuage, garden and orchard, and of S. end of the barn with half the floor; of parcel of land (10a.) heretofore divided into three closes called the Tenn Overs lying on E. side of the aforesaid messuage, of field (5a.) called the Sheppards Feild, of field (5a.) called the Pond Feild, and of field or close of land (2a.) called the West Crofte: all which were part of a farm and lands called Ayleslands alias Alice Lands in Nuthurst The fine to be levied by the name of the moiety of messuage, barn, garden, orchard, 20a. land, 4a. pasture and 4a. furze and heath in Nuthurst Recites: (i) that (a), in right of said Hannah Mogeworth alias Pacy, and (b), in right of w. Elizabeth (sis. of said Hannah, and another of the daus. and coheirs of said Mary Pricklove), stand jointly seised in fee simple of the entirety of the above property, which was allotted to (b) and said Elizabeth, and said Hannah 'Pacy' (then Hannah Slater, spinster), and the heirs of said Elizabeth and Hannah, for their share upon a division of the said farm and lands made between Thomas Cooper of West Grinstead, yeo., and w. Ann (one of the daus. of John Pricklove of Nuthurst, decd.), and (b) and said Elizabeth and said Hannah 'Pacy', by the name of Hannah Slater, as appears by the deed of partition, 1 Apr. 1659, and a fine levied thereupon; (ii) that (b) has agreed with (a) for the purchase of their moiety as above Signature and seal of John 'Pacy alias Mogworth'; mark and seal of Hannah 'Pacy alias Mogeworth' Witnesses - William Coe, William Seagrave, John Slater
