        Conveyance (feoffment), in consideration of £1,150 Reference:Add Mss 10,251 Description:From (a) Henry Strudwick of Crouchland in Kirdford, gent., to (b) Richard Stringer, junior, of Petworth, mercer Messuage, tenement, farm and lands (70a.) called Foxbridge, in Kirdford in occ. of John Alderton; the words 'and Chappell Field' have been inserted here in a later hand. Barn and parcel of land (30a.) part of Strudgwicks wood adjoining Foxbridge on N.E., in Kirdford, also in occ. of John Alderton; messuage, tenement, barn and lands (70a.) part of Strudgwicks wood, on N.E., of lane from Woodgate to a messuage in occ. of Robert Whiting near the highway to Plaistow, abutting E. on lands of John J blank, N.E. on lands of John Gratwicke, and N. on lands of John Lee, in Kirdford in occ. of (a); and all appurtenances belonging, except smith forge, mill and garden plot, parcel of Foxbridge; now in occ. of William Hoade, on N. side of Foxbridge, and also great pond and pondhead, floodgate, the fishing therein and the land the pond 'now doth or usually hathe beene accustomed to flowe over' as far as the hedge dividing this parcel from the rest of Foxbridge Witnesses: William Hardham, Nicholas Fitzherbert, Robert Strudwicke, John Caplen and Robert Johnson
