This is the last will and testament of me William Stradwick of the city of Rochester gentleman made with disposing understanding this 22nd day of October 1773
I give and bequeath unto my cousin Mary Stradwick 100 pounds to be paid her within 12 months next after my decease
All were residue of my personal estate I give to my niece the daughter of my late brother Richard Stradwick to be applied by my executor and trustee hereinafter mentioned nevertheless for her maintenance and education
I give and devise all my messuages tenements hereditaments and real estate whatsoever unto John Kirk of the city of Rochester gentleman upon trust to receive the rents and profits and pay and apply the same in the maintenance and education and my niece aforesaid until she attained the age of 21 years and afterwards to permit and suffer her my said neice to receive and take the rents issues and profits thereof to her and for her own use for and during the term of the natural life
And from and after decease of the my said neice to convey all the same real estate unto all and every of her son and sons daughter and daughters of the body of my said neice lawfully issuing and to the heirs of the body or bodies of such son and sons daughter and daughters lawfully issuing as tenants in common and not as joint tenants
And in case any or either of them shall die without issue then as to the part or share of he or her so dying to go to the survivor or survivors or other or others of them and the heirss of the body or bodies of such survivor or other or others of the lawfully issuing
And in default of all such issue to convey the same to my uncle John Stradwick his heirs and assigns forever
And I do here by name the aforesaid John Kirk executor of this my will whereto I have set my hand and seal the day and year above written in the 13th year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the third by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland king defender of the ffaith and so forth W Stradwick
Signed sealed published and declared by the said testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto T Whitaker the mark of Edward Johnson Henry Hills
