In the name of God Amen I Henry Strudwick of Shipborne in the parrish ofWisborough Greene in the county of Sussex yeoman being in good health of body and of sound and perfect mind and disposing memory praise be therefore given to Almighty God doe make and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say

Ffirst and principally I commend my soule into the hands of Almighty God hoping through the merrits death and passion of my saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my sinns and to inherit everlasting life and my body I committ to the earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of my executor hereafter named And as touching the disposition of all such temporall estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow apon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimus

I give and bequeath unto my loving nephew John Hill sonn of Simeon Hill of Pulborough in the said County deceased the summme of twenty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid within one year next after my decease by my executor hereafter named

Item I give unto Simeon Hill my nephew sonn of Simeon Hill of Pulborough aforesaid deceased and the his heirs All that my messuage landes and tenements called Shipborne otherwise Shelborne in Wisborough Greene aforesaid to hold to him his heirs and assigned forever

And all my other landes and tenements wherever iin the said parish of of Wisborough greene

And the rest resideue of my personall estate Goods and Chattels whatsoever I doe give and bequeath unto my said loving nephew Simeon Hill Whom I make full and sole executor of this my last will and testament

And I doe hereby revoke disannull and make voyd all former wills and testaments by me heretofore made

And I doe hereby make constitute ordaine and appoint George Shudd the younger of Loxwood and Henry Strudwick of IdeHurst overseers of this my last will

And I doe hereby give each of them Tenn shillings a peece to buy them a ring in rememberandce of me

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale this tenth day of October in the six and thirtieth year of of the reigne of our sovereigne Lord Charles the second by the grace of God King of England Scotland Ireland and France One Thousand six hundred and eighty four Henry Strudwicke
