This is the last will and testament of me Edmund Peter Strudwick of No 11 New End Hampstead in the county of Middlesex
I give and devise to Eliza Ratcliffe of No 11 Castle place Castle street High Street Whitchapel in the county of Middlesex the daughter of Mrs Lovell all my cash book debts linen furniture plate and whatever I may be entitled to now or hereafter for her own sole use and benefit and further that the same shall be at her own disposal at her death and I make and appoint Treyer Hettice Evans of the Green Man No 1 Beaufort Street in the county of Middlesex my sole executrix to see thst the intentions of this my will are truly carried out Witness my hand this 8th day of April in the year of our Lord 1848 Edmund Peter Strudwick

APPEARED PERSONALLY Jesse Taylor of No 11 New End Hampstead in the county of Middlesex Carpenter and made oath that he is one of the subscribed witnesses to the last will and testament Hereunto annexed of Edmund Peter Strudwick late of No 11 New End Hampstead in the county of Middlesex deceased which will bears date the 8th day of April 1848 and he further made oath that on the 8th day of April aforesaid the said testator only executed his said will by signing his name at the last or end thereof in the presence of this deponent and of Frederick Henry Miller the other subscribed witness thereto who was present at the same time and this deponent and the said frederick Henry Miller thereupon attested and subscribed the said will in the presence of the said testator and also in the presence of each other as witnesses of the due execution thereof -Jesse Taylor
On the said 28th day of November 1850 the said Jesse Taylor was duly sworn to the truth of this affidavit before me –J Spinks Surr. Present John Mills Not. Public
Probatum on the 5th December to Eliza Ratcliffe widow and universal legatee , the executrix Treyer Hettice Evans first renouncing the execution of the will
