I ratify my marriage settlement with my wife Catherine Shurlock;
to my eldest son William Shurlock who is provided for by my marriage settlement my share in manor of Bramley which I jointly bought with (Mr) Elliott of the heirs of ... Ludlow;
to my wife all my messuage where I live for life and all my household goods, my chaise and horse; on intended marriage of my daughter Elizabeth Shurlock with (Captain) Charles William Morden I have agreed to give her all my messuage in Rusper, Sussex and £1,500 charged on my messuage in Bramley in the occupation of Elizabeth Shurlock, widow;
my moiety of a meadow in Shalford to my son Robert Shurlock;
residue to my son Robert, my wife to be guardian in his minority

Codicil 6 Jun 1784: revoke devise to my eldest son William of my share of manor of Bramley and
it to son Robert at 21 with remainder to daughter Elizabeth Morden now wife of Charles William
